Dorothy Lucille Bledsoe, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on June 9, 1933 to Johnie and Mary (Smith) Birge in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.
Lucille was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother & grandmother, and never met a stranger. She loved to quilt, bake, play her guitar and sing hymns; and she loved talking about her Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Winford Bledsoe; children, Diana (Arlie) Brock, Margaret (Fred) Bell, Janet Hutson, Fennis 'Nick' S Bledsoe, Jennie (Tom) Thomas and Mary Melleen (Dean) Parr; brother, Noie Birge; grandchildren, Lisa (Brad) Williams, Michael Brock, Paula (Justin) Letro, Kim (Phil) Lillge, Brian (Jen) Hutson, Carrie (Mike) Donahue, Ryan Bledsoe, Brandon Bledsoe, Kyle Thomas, Chad (Alyssa) Thomas, Casey (Keith) Bjurstrom, Brittany (Shane) Parr and Nicholas (Kayla) Parr; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Christopher Williams, Kayla, Jordan & Hayley Hiatt, Tara Ewing, Dayne & Laina Lillge, Michael, Mikayla, Macy & Mara Donahue, Faith Thomas and Wade Hutson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, Finnis 'Bryant' Birge, Mary Catherine Birge, Rollie Birge, Harvie Birge, Jimmie Birge and Cecil Birge.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 and also from 11:00 am until time of service on Thursday. Pastor John Wagner will officiate. Burial will be at Arcadia Cemetery in Arcadia.
