Dorothy L. (Luepke) Daily, 90, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at her residence in Noblesville. She was born March 11, 1918 in Monticello, Illinois to Eleanora Luepke (Boecher) and Richard Luepke.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She was raised in Oak Park, IL, and graduated from Oak Park High School. She moved to Fortville, Indiana, in 1949. She had been a Girl Scout leader; was instrumental in starting the Fortville Senior Citizen Organization, where she played in their 'kitchen band'; had logged over 3000 hours as a volunteer at Riverview Hospital; and had been a volunteer at Fortville Schools and at First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed oil painting; loved to travel; and was an animal lover.
She was a member of Member of First United Methodist Church and had attended Emmanual United Methodist Church, in recent years.
She is survived by daughters, Ronaele Corman (Jack McCormick) of Indianapolis, Susan (Wayne) Kimsey of Knoxville, TN, & Linda (Dr. Larry) Oliver of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; son, Richard (Linda) Daily of Fairland, IN; daughter, Dorothy Shook of Noblesville, friend, Sandy Brown & loving employees and customers at Applebee's; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond Neil Daily.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call Friday, July 11, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
