Dorothy D. (Schaadt) Long, 83, Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at home. She was born June 24, 1924 in Rankin, Illinois to Dorothy Edith (Malicoat) and E.W. Schaadt.
Dorothy was an administrative assistant to the General at the Army Finance Center. She was also a member of the Lawrence Chapter #384 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by sons, Bob (Debbie) Long, & Tim (Tammy) Long; grandchildren, Stacey Long & Josh Long; and great-grandson, Elijah.
Services will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with Pastor Dave Lohse officiating. Friends may call Thursday, January 31, 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midwest Baptist Conference Next Generation Initiative, 924 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, IL 60068.
