Dr. James K. Danglade, Jr., Ph.D., of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born on May 5, 1937 to James K. and Helen (Protsman) Danglade.
Dr. Danglade was awarded a Ph.D. in History from Ball State University in 1972. He was employed by Ball State University for 43 years as a counselor, assistant professor of history, and university administrator, retiring as Associate Dean of the College of Continuing Education. Upon retirement, Dr. Danglade, as Professor Emeritus, continued teaching in the prison programs he helped to create.
He is survived by his daughter, Annette Danglade (Douglas) Swetnam of Fishers; his son, John (Shelia) Danglade of Fishers; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.
