Dr. Robert "Bob" Joseph Morgan
Dr. Robert (Bob) Joseph Morgan, born June 2, 1945 to Gale and Betty Morgan in Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Bob was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and was a member of the swim team. He attended Ball State University and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He continued his education at Indiana University Medical School, where he graduated with his Medical Degree, then completed his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Bob loved spending time with his family. As his children were growing up, he enjoyed coaching them in their sports, helping with science fair projects or simply guiding them through everyday life. He always loved the opportunity to teach, no matter the subject or situation. Life was all about learning for him. Bob was an avid racquetball player and runner, which included several Indianapolis 500 Mini Marathons.
Bob was also a successful OB/GYN with a thriving practice on the east side of Indianapolis for many years. He was a member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). One of his greatest joys, other than his family, was helping bring new life into the world.
Bob is survived by his loving children, Rob (Shannan) Morgan, Kim (Demetrius) Norris and Kristen (Mike) Kluft; his grandchildren, Davon, Christian, Cassidy, Kamryn, Dominick, Kelsey, and Katie; his brother, Bill (Margie) Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pam. He will be greatly missed.
