Duane Jacobs

Duane E. Jacobs, 65, of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on December 7, 1947 to Roy and Phyllis (Fox) Jacobs in Noblesville.
Duane retired in 2004 from the trucking industry, where he enjoyed his passion of turning a wrench on trucks. He was a 1966 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School. He was a former member of the Teamsters Union. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowers; and he also loved cats.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jacobs; children, Eric Jacobs, Tammy (Jody) Harris, Angie (Felipe) Chiong, Todd Rayle and Tracy Weller Petro; grandchildren, Alex & Seth Harris, Kathryn, Danielle & Phillip Chiong, Brittany Rayle & Hailee Rayle, Karly Dean, Alissa Blondette, Tiffany, Heather & Cody Petro; and great-grandchildren, Xavier Obsitnick & Tyson Pharis.
Services will be held at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 6:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Pastor Mike Harris will officiate.
