Earl Russell "Russie" Ottinger

Earl Russell "Russie" Ottinger, 66, of Cicero, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on July 4, 1944 to Russell and Clarel (Snow) Ottinger in Zionsville, Indiana.
Earl retired as a carpenter from Mike's Construction after working there many years.
He is survived by his father, Russell Ottinger; daughters, Lindsay E. Ottinger and her fiance and Mariann N. (Prudencio) Marcial-Ottinger; sons, Lonnie J. Compton and Travis G. Compton; sisters, Ruth E. (Richard) Hale and Geraldine Eldridge;  brother, Bruce Taylor; step-sisters, Penny Hoover, Linda Erney and Donna Mobley; step-brother, Richard Whitmore; grandchildren, Lana Marcial-Ottinger and Gracie Reyna; and eleven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clarel (Snow) Ottinger; stepmother, Elizabeth (Whitaker) Ottinger; a sister, Rebecca Newman; and one niece.
Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Rd., in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the funeral home, with Pastor Darrell Jones and Pastor Michael W. Risden officiating. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.
