Ed Cook, 73, of Cicero, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on March 2, 1940 to Frank and Willnetta (Ruckersfeldt) Cook in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Ed worked in the glass and metal industry for 45 years, having worked for PPG for 25 years and then for Circle City Glass and Hoosier Glass. Ed and Rita enjoyed more than 30 years living on the lake at Morse Reservoir. He enjoyed boating and camping; and was an avid sports fan, especially the Indianapolis Colts and Louisville Cardinals.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Cook; son, Ralph (April) Cook; grandchildren, Andrew & Amber Owens and Aaron Cook; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Wolfe and Cadence Fiesel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Kevin D Cook; and one sister.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon immediately prior to the service. Pastor Richard Day of Westfield Horizon Church will officiate. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero.
