Edgar Moyer

Edgar M. Moyer , 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at home. He was born on March 25, 1924 to Edgar and Daisy (Strome) Moyer in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ed was an inspector for Naval Avionics. He proudly served his country as a WWII Air Force pilot. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard and was a Mason.
He is survived by wife, Doris Moyer of Noblesville, IN, whom he married February 5, 1954; sons, John (Mary Jo Kuehr) Moyer of Fishers, IN, Mark (Terri Kellermeyer) Moyer of Greenville, SC, Ron (Susie Sligh) Moyer of Athens, GA; daughters, Kim (Bob) Pace of Noblesville, IN, Cindy (Jim) Spivey of Wheaton, IL; grandchildren, Molly Moyer (Jake) King, Kristina Moyer, Matthew Moyer, Ryan Moyer Travis (Jinna) Moyer, Stephanie Pace (Matt) Murray, Brian (Michelle) Pace, Sebastian Spivey, Sammy Spivey, Simon Spivey, Conner Moyer, Cameron Moyer, Bobby, Nicholas, and Peter Sligh; great-grandchildren Kaylee and Ethan Murray, Lainey and Aubrey Pace.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Kelly & Gladys Gentry; great-granddaughter, Allie Pace; stepmother, Anna Moyer.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville.
