Edward Blackmore

Edward E. Blackmore, 81, of Westfield, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on February 13, 1931 to Lou and Helen (Thompson) Blackmore in Ashley, Missouri.
Edward was retired from Chrysler where he had worked in Quality Control. He was a member of White River Christian Church in Noblesville and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed reading, fishing, music (especially Jazz music) and dancing.
He is survived by wife, Norma Blackmore; daughter, Vanessa (Michael) Patrick; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Blackmore; grandsons, Adam Patrick, Davis Patrick and Ryan Blackmore; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Kurt E Blackmore; sister & brother-in-law, Lula Mae Blackmore-Cassel & Doyt Cassel; and step-father, Morris Duckworth.
Services will be Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:00 pm at White River Christian Church, 1685 North 10th Street, Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
