Edward E. "Gene" Piper
Edward E. 'Gene' Piper, 70, formerly of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away April 21, 2011, at his residence in Russell Springs, Kentucky. He was born April 14, 1941 in Noblesville to Jewell 'Ed' Piper and LaVaughn 'Bonnie' Piper.
Edward graduated from Noblesville High School and later served in the Vietnam War with the Army. He worked as Parts Manager for Clark Equipment.
He is survived by brothers, Dennis Piper and Dan Piper; daughter, Darcy Leiding; son, Mark Edward Piper; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:30PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Mike Jenkins officiating. Friends may call Thursday at 1:00PM until the time of the service.
