Edwin C. Savage, III

Edwin C. Savage III, 50, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana. He was born on August 1, 1973, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ed was a police officer serving Indianapolis, and a retired Captain serving Whitestown Police Department. Throughout his 30-year law enforcement career, he also served at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy as a firearm and driving instructor. He was a loyal and hardworking servant to his community. In his second career post law enforcement, Ed served as Director of Global Sales Engineering for an IT firm out of California.

Ed was well read, a real know-it-all, larger than life, and was always the smartest person in the room. He was the most understanding and forgiving person, and you never had to question where you stood with him. Above all, he was the provider and protector of all his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, friends, and pets. He loved animals and had a strong passion for technology and IT security. Being impeccably smart, he made being a computer guru look easy.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Savage; father, Edwin Savage, Jr.; children, Whitney (Anthony Henson), Taylor, Dylan, and Evan Savage; grand-daughter, Aurora Roberts-Savage; step-children, Olivia Clark (David Conder), and Alex Clark (Josie O’Brien); in-laws, David and Nancy Duncan; and his dogs, Chloe, Oliver, Ivy, and cat Linda.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Delores (Hommell) Savage.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with services at 7:00 pm, on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
