Effie Ellen (Engleman) Crecelius, 74, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born January 24, 1934 in Corydon, Indiana to Ruth (Pepper) and Ralph Engleman.
Effie was a homemaker and had also assisted her husband with his auto repair business. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, in Corydon, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Crecelius of Noblesville; sons, Kevin Crecelius, Boyd (& Pam) Crecelius, & Strause Crecelius all of Noblesville; daughter, Colleen (& Randy) Lakin of Spring Hill, FL; brothers, Jim Engleman, & John Engleman, both of Corydon, IN; sisters, Betty Rogers of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, Alma Williams of Irvington, KY, & Nyla Smith of Corydon, IN; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carla Sue Bishop; and brother, Wayne Engleman.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville. Friends may call Wednesday, June 4, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
