Elizabeth A. Hassfurther, 71, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital - 86th St in Indianapolis. She was born on March 11, 1942 to Alford and Margaret (Dixon) Case in Scottsburg, Indiana.
Elizabeth worked as an executive assistant in the commercial real estate division at PNC Bank; was a member of the First Christian Church of Noblesville; and attended Waterline Church in Noblesville. She was an avid reader, enjoyed painting pottery, and loved sports, especially the New York Yankees and the Indianapolis Colts. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla (Kevin) Boring; brothers, Alford (Muriel) Case Jr., Gene Case, Roger (Patty) Case; sister, Belinda (Donald) Lyvers; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Joseph Hassfurther.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, July 15, 2013, at Randall & Roberts with additional visitation beginning at 6:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Additional services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Pastor John Freed will officaite. A private graveside service with burial will be held Wednesday morning, at Charlestown Cemetery, for immediate family.
