Ellen W. (Hays) Forsythe, 102, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born October 8, 1906 in Bloomington, Indiana to Warren and Manta (Wampler) Hays.
Ellen was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, in Noblesville.
She is survived by her son, Forrest (Betty) Shipley of Fishers; daughter, Ruby (John) Cook of Florida; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Forsythe.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Dr. Richard Bailey officiating. Friends may call Sunday, August 16, 2:00 - 4:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
