Elmer B. Linton, 88, Pendleton, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born June 29, 1921 in Franklin County, Kentucky to Bert and Jewel (Stone) Linton.
Elmer was a self-employed plumber.
He had served in the Marines during WWII. He was a former member of the Paris Baptist Church in Paris, Kentucky. He was a member of the Noblesville VFW and the Fort Harrison American Legion.
He is survived by wife, Opal Linton of Pendleton, IN; son, Larry (Lisa) Linton of Crawfordsville; daughter, Brenda (Tom) Eddingfield of Indianapolis; sister, Ethel (Marvin) Asberry of New Castle; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, IN. Friends may call Tuesday, June 22, 4:00 - 7:00PM at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary.
