Emerson Polackin

Emerson Alexandra Polackin, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
Emerson was born on June 2, 2015. She fought so hard for 17 days. She came into this world so strong but unfortunately an infection in her lungs was just too much for her sweet little body to continue fighting. Emerson's Mom and Dad knew what was best for her and that it was time to give her back to Jesus. They gave her the most selfless gift a parent could ever give to their child: an end to her suffering, only to take on all of it themselves. They know she is back with her first Father in Heaven. She went so peacefully on her Mom's chest with Dad right there and a few close people surrounding the 3 of them. Their days will be long and their grief will be unbearable at times. We can't take that away. The family would like to thank the doctors & nurses at Community North Hospital for the loving care they provided for Emerson. She fought hard for every day that she was alive, and passed peacefully in her parents' arms.
Emerson is survived by her parents, Todd & Cassandra Polackin; sister, Addison Danielle; grandparents, Robert & Andrea Kester; grandmother, Geraldine Robinett & spouse, Leon; grandfather, Paul Polackin & spouse, Dale; uncles, Craig (Jenny) Polackin, and Robert (Stephanie) Kester; and aunt, Justine (Lee) Payton.
A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2015, at BridgeWay Community Church, 12945 Parkside Drive, in Fishers, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Craig Parker will officiate.
