Ernie Gullion, 84, of Anderson, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 3, 1928 to Ernie and Minnie Delph Gullion in Tipton County, Indiana.
Ernie was retired from Delco-Remy, Plant 10 in Anderson. He attended Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in north Anderson; and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory are seven sons, Larry (Sandy) of Mooresville, Ron of Fairmount, Steve (Daisy) of Greenfield, Chuck (Risa), Don (Cathy) & Kenny (Mary) all of Middletown, and Eddie of Anderson. He delighted in his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews; and enjoyed many deep friendships. He was the third oldest of nine siblings, including Phyllis, Dick, Fred, Phillip (Flip), Alice, Bill, Janice and Karen. Phyllis, Flip and Janice survive.
Lavon, his beloved bride of 63 years preceded him in death in 2009.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm immediately prior to the service. Brother Ed Combs will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
The family would like to thank St. Vincent Regional Hospital, Anderson Hospice and, in particular, his wonderful nurse, Kathy and Miss Tillie who helped take such good care of him.
