Esther Hensley

Esther L. Hensley, 94, of Fortville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011. She was born on April 14, 1917 to John and Georgia Lees in Noblesville.
In 1985, Esther retired after 30 years as a seamstress for LS Ayres. She also worked as a clerk at Meijer for 9 years. Esther LOVED bingo!
She is survived by a son, Robert (Janet) Hensley of Beech Grove; a daughter, Betty Mathis of Indianapolis; a brother, Max Lees of Noblesville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hensley; a son, William "Gene" Hensley; and a sister, Helen Lees.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 16, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2011 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
