Eudoris "Nuite" Pennington

Eudoris 'Nuite' Pennington, 78, of Westfield, IN passed away on May 12, 2013 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Mediacal Center in Hazard, KY. He was born on September 19, 1934 to Jesse & Nancy Pennington in Bond, KY. He married Phyllis Griffie on March 12, 1956. She preceded him in death.
Nuite retired from Standard Locknut in Westfield after 30 years; and was a member of Mts. Runn Baptist Church in Zionsville, IN. He spent half of his time in Kentucky and loved gardening, cooking and building things. His grandkids were his whole world, and everyone who knew him loved him dearly.
He is survived by two sons, Terry D (Janet) Pennington of Sheridan and Kevin (Carol) Clark of Cicero; two daughters, Marlena (Mike) Walton of Westfield and Sonya Faye (Tim) Carr of Sheridan; five brothers, Carl of OH, Jay, Dale & Donnie of IN and Andy of KY; two sisters, Ruby Hurley of OH and Ruthann Randolph of CA; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; and many other family & friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Mts. Runn Baptist Church, 250 S County Road 775 E, Zionsville, IN 46077.
Services were held in Kentucky on Thursday, May 16, 2013 with burial at Griffie Family Cemetery in Hallie, KY.
