Evelyn Clara Perry Hilton, 92, of Noblesville, passed away May 6, 2011. She was born February 26, 1919 to William and Ethel (Somerfield) Perry in Kincaid, Illinois.
She married Wayne Hilton in 1940. In 1946 they moved to Noblesville where they spent their entire life. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, especially her rose garden, and also enjoyed raising her Siamese cats. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and volunteered for various activities. She enjoyed trips to Florida with her children, visiting museums; and Las Vegas, visiting the Hoover Dam. For several years, she and Wayne spent their winter months in Florida.
She is survived by her children: Martha Ann (Larry) DeCamp of Indianapolis; Linda Sue (Dwight) Nentrup of Franklin; Charles William (Lei) Hilton of Honolulu; Richard Wayne Hilton of Noblesville; her sister, Ethel Mae Fustin of Springfield, IL; nine grandchildren: Tina, Troy, Toni, David, Matthew, John, Wayne, Josh and Kelsey; plus eight great-grandchildren: Drew, Ellie, Jacob, Ramsey, Curtis, Alex, Bridger and Larsen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hilton, and her brother, Ted Perry.
Services will be at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 12:00 Noon, with visitation beginning at 10:00AM prior to the service. Pastor Wade Apel, Bethel Lutheran Church, will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
