Evelyn Maxine Pruitt

Evelyn Maxine Pruitt, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on May 15, 1925 to Perry and Mary (Ellis) Taylor in French Lick, Indiana. Evelyn had been a dance instructor for 18 years. She had been a member at the First Baptist Church in French Lick, Church of Christ in Christian Union in French Lick and Faith Christian Center in Salem. She spent much of her time volunteering for the churches and for the Shepherd's Bethel Mission in French Lick.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Keith) Sharples; son, Reggie Pruitt; half-son, Ron Pruitt; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Pruitt; 10 brothers & sisters; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Ames Chapel Cemetery in French Lick, IN. with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating.
