Evelyn Steele

Evelyn M. Steele, 93, of Noblesville, formerly of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born on March 21, 1920 to Curtis and Gladys (Terry) Smith in Monroe County, Indiana.
Evelyn worked for Firestone Industrial Products as a government inspector. She was also a homemaker, cook, and was a great seamstress. She enjoyed making clothes for her grandkids.
She is survived by daughters, Suzi (Jeff) Boyer, Teri (Greg) Ransom; grandchildren, Rob Smoot, Stacy Cummins, Melissa Barnes, Joe Burris & Mandy Clark; step-grandchildren, Josh Ransom, Zach Ransom, Jason Boyer, and Jessie Klabak; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Steele; a brother D.B. Smith and a son Sam D. Miller.
Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Bloomington, Indiana.
