Evonne Bedwell

Evonne Brandom Balog Bedwell, 87, of Joliet, IL, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Noblesville, IN. She was born on November 27, 1926 to Harry and Jessie (Minor) Brandom in Joliet, Illinois.
A lifelong resident of Joliet, Evonne was the co-owner of Joliet Donut Company during the 1940s-1970s. She served on the founding auxiliary of Silver Cross Hospital as its 2-term president. Evonne was an active member of Judson Baptist Church and a Bible study leader with Stonecroft Ministries.
She is survived by her son, Dr. J. Kevin (Cheryl) Balog; and granddaughter, Stephanie Balog. Survivors also include Alice Bedwell Offerman, and Donna Bedwell Naranjo.
In addition to her parents, Evonne was preceded in death by her husbands, Julius Balog and Donald F. Bedwell.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 1:30pm Central Time on Monday, October 27, 2014, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 23060 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL. A private graveside service will follow.
