Flora Richard

Flora Jane Richard, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on January 1, 1939 to Herbert and Mary Margaret (Kern) Garrard in Chicago, Illinois.
Flora worked as a secretary for First Presbyterian Church in Noblesville for 15 years. She then worked for the Hamilton County Clerk's Office for 27 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and attended First United Methodist Church in Noblesville. She was also a member of Tri Kappa, Zeta Tau Alpha of Purdue University, Extension Homemakers, Master Gardeners, DAR, Golden K Kiwanis, and Military Officers Association of America.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (John) Kern of Noblesville; sister, Sara Grepp of Germany; brother, Bruce Garrard of Ohio; and grandchildren, Joshua & Maggie Kern.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Richard, in 1996.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Rev. Paul Kern officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery.
