Floyd F. Bollinger, 69, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on April 19, 1947 to Willis and Cynthia (Baker) Bollinger in New Kensington, PA. His parents preceded him in death.
Floyd was a sales manager for Kennametal Company for 39 years. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran, having earned three Purple Hearts. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmel, and had a love for playing and coaching baseball which he enjoyed for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing and shooting guns.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jill (Elliott) Bollinger; two sons, Seth (Kim) Bollinger and Cullen (Kimberly) Bollinger; and three grandchildren, Lexi & Taylor Bollinger and Joshua Bollinger.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church, 1010 E 126th St, Carmel, IN 46033, with a gathering after the service until 4:00 pm.
The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville with arrangements.
