Forrest 'Buck' Shipley

Forrest 'Buck' Shipley, 89, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers. He was born on August 27, 1926 to Fred and Ellen (Hays) Shipley in Monroe County, Indiana. Buck worked as a sales manager for Sears for many years, retiring in 1985. He proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Shipley whom he married on October 29, 1955; daughters, Mary (Michael) Tuit and Ann (Patrick) Ryan; and sister, Ruby (John) Cook.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
