Frances Sue (Barnard) Berkshire, 83, Connersville, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born March 30, 1924 in Kokomo, Indiana to Hazel (Long) and Walter Barnard.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, in Noblesville & St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Connersville.
Sue was married to William R. Berkshire on September 26, 1942. A former resident of Logansport, Monticello and Connersville, Sue was actively involved in her church and community before moving to Noblesville.
She is survived by daughter, Camille Berkshire Klink of Noblesville, IN; daughter, Calissa Berkshire Harvey of Connersville, IN; son, Corbin Berkshire of Ft. Wayne, IN; son, Collier Berkshire of Plymouth, IN; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William; brother Walter Barnard, Jr,: and a grandson Matthew Klink.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, February 15, 2008 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, with Rev. John Zahn, officiating. A lunch will be served in the Community Room of the church, immediately following the Mass. Friends may call Thursday, February 14, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, and on Friday from 9:00 - 10:00AM at the church. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery in Connersville, Indiana at 3:00PM on Friday.
