Francis H. Morancey, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 3, 1928 to Homer and Erma (Wretling) Morancey in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Francis proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an account executive for Business Incentives Incorporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota for many years. Francis enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and boating on White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He loved his coffee clutch group and eating chocolate. Francis was the kind of person that never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Morancey; son, Randall (Patricia) Morancey; grandchildren, Kara Kersten (Jason) Smith, Joel (Rewa) Peters, Erik (Rachel) Morancey, Courtni Peters, Adam (Emily) Morancey, and Meagan Morancey; great-grandchildren, Mason, Meadow, Ella, Eli, Isabel, Elijah, Amelia, Caroline, and August.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rick Morancey; brothers, William, Robert, and Richard Morancey; and sister, Loraine Vierkandt.
Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
