Frank Eugene Maliff, 85, of Noblesville, Indiana, died May 12, 2009 at St. Vincent's Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, August 16, 1923 to the late Frank Maliff and Ruby Puckett Maliff
Frank Eugene Maliff moved to Winchester, Indiana and went to Winchester High School. After graduation he went to Indiana University and graduated in 1948 with a business degree. His first job was with the Shaffer Pen Company in Ft. Madison, Iowa for one year, and then he moved back to Indianapolis and work for IBM for over 34 years as Senior Marketing Representative in the Indianapolis office. After retiring in 1983 from IBM he became a realtor and broker, and sold condos mainly in Windridge for 20 years.
He was in the Army during WWII and served in the Panther Division in Europe. Frank was very proud to have been in the Marching Hundred while at Indiana University. He also was an Eagle Scout. Frank was a member of Millersville Lodge, Winchester Lodge No. 56, F. & A. M., Scottish Rite, Murat Temple and ATO fraternity at I.U. Frank was a former member of Epworth Methodist Church and now a member of First United Methodist Church of Noblesville. He was a member of MIBOR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, his son Jeff Maliff, and two wives.
Frank and Shirley Repp/Ihrer Maliff were married on July 11, 1998 on Marco Island, Florida and lived in Windridge condos until moving to Noblesville.
Survivors include wife Shirley, step-daughters Kelli (Mike) Otten, Robin (Mike) Garland, Leslie Pennington, Cathy (Larry) Wagner, and Sue (Jeff) Swift; step-sons Scott (Martha) Repp and Erick (Tina) Russell; granddaughter Mary Beth Maliff; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and best friend Bruce Kendall.
Services will be at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00AM, with Rev.Dave Scifres officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 1-5:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville, IN.
