Franklin P. Lovell, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Health - Indianapolis. He was born on October 4, 1925 to Frank and Eva (Purdy) Lovell in Pittsboro, Indiana.
Frank was a hairdresser on the East side of Indianapolis for 40+ years before moving to Florida. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Frank was devoted and passionate in his faith, and enjoyed music.
Frank is survived by his former wife, Eleanor Young Lovell; daughters, Suzanne (Robert D.) Maffett, and Vickie D. (Stephen) Ramsey; son, Rodney (Brenda) Lovell; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
A private memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Forest Creek Village, 525 E. Thompson Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46227.
