Freda Jones

Freda G. Jones, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1924 to Liege and Ruth (Hampton) Jackson in Artemus, Kentucky.
Freda was an avid exerciser, serving as Activities Coordinator at the Noblesville Senior Center. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, and enjoyed shopping, traveling, and working in her yard.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Jones; daughters, Joann (Howard) Stearns, Linda Wiles, and Bobbie (Glenn) Walters; daughter-in-law, Donna Summers; and son-in-law, Dennis Grimes.
In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her daughter, "Dodie" Ruth Ellen Grimes; sons, Basil "Bug" Summers Jr., and Glen Summers; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Summers.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 11818 SR 32 East, in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service. Pastor Mark Lowe will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
