Fredrick M Jennings, 82, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on March 29, 1930 to Myrvel 'Sam' and Ruth (Thorp) Jennings in Noblesville, Indiana.
Fred had worked for McMahon Food Company for 21 years and then as head of maintenance for the Hamilton County Courthouse until his retirement in 1994. He was a 1948 graduate of Noblesville High School, and proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was a 66-year member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, where he sang in the choir under the direction of Betty McMahon. Fred loved to fish and also loved John Deere tractors. He will be sadly missed by his family whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara (Roush) Jennings; daughter, Christina (Randy) Noble; son, Phillip Jennings; daughter, Pamela (Terry) Austin; sister, Carolyn Jennings; two grandsons, Steve (Tammie) Austin & Ryan Austin; and five great-grandchildren, Skyler, Mason, Alexyss, Abby & Aubrey.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 9, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Pastor Dick Judson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
