Fredrick A. Ricketts, 73 of Elwood passed away Saturday October 30, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood after an extended illness. He was born August 25, 1937 to Floyd and Bernadine Ricketts who preceeded him in death.
Mr. Ricketts was a farmer, and a member of Elwood Missionary Southern Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline (Franks) Ricketts; children Cathy (Jim) Mickley, Carol Hicks, Vivian (Hardy) Brewer, Floyd (Teresa) Ricketts and Fredrick (Amber) Ricketts; two brothers, Frank and Jerry Ricketts; three sisters, Judy Percifil, Sherrie Sloderbeck and Marjorie Trevillian; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Lou Ann Miller; a son Edwin Allen Ricketts; a brother, Edwin Ricketts; sisters, Doris French and Elizabeth Brown; and a great-grandson, Samuel Ryan Hicks.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Charles H. Fields offficiating. Burial will be in Cicero Cemetery.
