Furman William Burnell, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1938 to Earnest and Fairy (Bundrum) Burnell in Jackson County, Indiana.
Furman proudly served his country in the United States Army, and worked for 36 years as a crane signalman for General Motors. He enjoyed golfing, and was a fan of IU, the Pacers, and the Colts.
Furman is survived by his wife, Shirley Burnell; his son, Bill (Marcus) Burnell-Wildridge; and his dogs, Evan, Makayla, and Rylee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers & sisters and many beloved pets.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the funeral home, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
