Gail Kathleen Akers

Gail Jessell Akers, 49, of Fishers, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on March 16, 1966 to Jack and Audrey (Bloodgood) Jessell in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Gail graduated in 1984 from Terre Haute South, and from ISU in 1988. She worked as a fitness trainer, and loved everything fitness, including marathons, pilates, yoga. Gail attended Northview Christian Church, was involved in the Northside Twins & Multiples group, and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority at ISU. She loved children and scrapbooking, and was the Assistant Director of CUMNS Preschool where she also taught. Gail was an extremely sweet, friendly, and kind person, and loved dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Akers; father, Jack Jessell; son, Cooper Scott Akers; twin daughters, Gabriel Florence Akers, and Kennedy Catherine Akers; siblings, Dana Jessell, Tim (Ragan) Jessell, and Lynn (Chad) Ford; father- and mother-in-law, Greg & Janie Gilbert; sister-in-law, Angela (Cordell) Ford; brother-in-law, Greg Gilbert; and nieces & nephews, Laura Jordan, Michael Dorman, Jake Ford, Max Ford, Fiona Jordan, Abby Jessell, Molly Jessell, and Ben Jessell.
In addition to her mother, Audrey Jessell, Gail was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Florence Jessell and Helen Bloodgood; and her uncle, Jack Bloodgood.
Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with visitation from 1:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Kevin McKinney will officiate.
