Garnette R. McConnell

Garnette R. McConnell, 69, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on November 26, 1955 to Robert and Dorothy (Stoops) Thompson in Noblesville, Indiana. 

Garnette worked as a manager for Hardees for several years. She enjoyed camping and traveling, and loved to play BINGO. Garnette was a loving, kind and caring person to everyone she met. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. 

Garnette is survived by her daughters, Kim Harrington and Jamie McConnell; son, Gary (Brenda) McConnell Jr.; grandsons, Dustin (Sierra) Swenson and Wil McConnell; sisters, Debbie (Thomas) Sizemore, Diane (Steve) Kayse, and Jenny Hiner; and her brother, Trooper (Andrea) Thompson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne McConnell Sr.; and grandsons, Justin Thomas Swenson and Austin Jay Swenson. 

The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes with cremation.
