Gary R. Dean

Gary R. Dean, 64, Arcadia, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at home. He was born December 2, 1945 in Dover Foxcroft, Maine.
Gary worked as a mechanic for Harlan Bakery.  He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, earning the National Defense Service Medal.  He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Noblesville.
He is survived by his wife, Betty (Craft) Dean of Arcadia; brothers, Danny Parsons, of Florida and Gene Parsons, of Connecticut; sisters, Joyce Richards and Patsy McGee, both of Maine; son, William Dean; step-daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Hunt of Greenfield; step-son, Jon (Jodi) Beck of Chicago; step-daughter, Kim (John) Higginbotham of Cicero, and seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Melvin and a sister, Sharon.
Services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with Jeff Young officiating.  Friends may call Wednesday, July 7, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
