Gary Wayne McConnell Sr.

Gary Wayne McConnell Sr., 69, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1955 to William and Maxine (Poteet) McConnell in Pennington Gap, Virginia. 

Gary built fish tanks for Perfecto Manufacturing for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing anything outdoors. 

Gary is survived by his wife, Garnette McConnell; daughters, Kim Harrington and Jamie McConnell; son, Gary (Brenda) McConnell Jr.; and his grandsons, Dustin (Sierra) Swenson and Wil McConnell. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy McConnell; half-sister, Janie L. Morrison; half-brother, Donald Poteet; and grandsons, Justin Swenson, and Austin Swenson. 

The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes with cremation.
