George Edward Barker

George Edward Barker, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  He was born on January 8, 1938 to John and Ruth Ann (Hiatt) Barker in Clare, Indiana.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He enjoyed working as a photographer as well as building Legos and working in the garage.  George and his wife, Elaine, daughter, Daniele, and step-daughter, Terry, loved ballroom dancing.  He also loved watching the birds on his bird feeders.

George is survived by his wife, Elaine Barker; daughter, Daniele Thomas; step-daughter, Terry (Luis) Mayo; grandchildren, Gabe Elkin, Cally Elkin, Kaitlyn Thomas, Ben (Bridget) Thomas, and Carly Thomas; and his great-granddaughter, Demi Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Barker.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
