George A. Jamison
George A. Jamison, 86, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born October 11, 1921 in Lebanon, Indiana to Georgia (Schenck) and James O. Jamison.
George retired from being a truck driver for Tiny Tots, and also from Noblesville Jr. High School, where he had been a custodian. He had been Chief of the Noblesville Special Police in the 1960's. He was also a member of member of the Teamster Union.
He is survived by son, Loel (& Pam) Lister of Noblesville; daughter, JoAnn (& James) Hunt of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 2002.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Saturday, March 15, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville.
