George Leer

George E. Leer, 98, Cicero, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born July 31, 1910 in Noblesville, Indiana to William and Louvina (Cahill) Leer.
George had retired from Firestone Industial Products, where he had worked in the maintenance department. He attended Strawtown Community Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Ruth Hamby of Cicero; and four sons John Leer, Don Leer, Martin Leer, all of Cicero & George Leer, of Bloomfield, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Myrtle Leer and second wife, Murble Leer.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, with Rev. Jeff Young officiating. Friends may call Friday, May 1, 4:00 - 8:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
