Georgia Hunter passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at the age of 82.
She was born April 13, 1931, to the late George and Julia (Whyte) Lewis in Girta, W.V. Having attended the Lansing Business University, Georgia worked as an expeditor for the Commercial Construction Company and also enjoyed modeling part-time.
A long time resident of Carmel and later Noblesville, Georgia worked part-time as a receptionist for Phil King's Beauty Salon. She loved to entertain her many friends and cooking was her forte as well as being an avid bridge player and bowler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hunter and an only son, Andy. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Hunter Casteran of Fishers, IN, Julie Netzley of Midland, MI, and Ricky Gregerson of Seattle, WA. Also, one precious grandson, Jack Hunter Casteran.
Honoring Georgia's request there will be no calling or services. A "Celebration of Life" party will be hosted by her daughters on Saturday, May 18th at Stony Ridge Clubhouse in Noblesville from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
