Gerald Keith Grimes

Gerald Keith Grimes, 86, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Homeview Healthcare in Franklin. He was born on February 27, 1938 to Virgil and Ida (Price) Grimes in Connersville, Indiana.

Jerry was a graduate of Short Ridge High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was head custodian for Stoney Creek Elementary in Noblesville, and also worked for Allied Feed Mills. Jerry was a member of the Noblesville Moose.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda June Grimes; children, Kimberly (Jason) Mills, Jerry Grimes, Linda (Rick) Stewart, and Jeff (Marsha) Webster; sister, Phyllis Leake; 10 grandchildren, Chandler Mills, Garrett Mills, Jason Monnett, Joe Thurman, Branden Monnett, Summer Savini, Ricki Harlos, Randi Levesque, Seth Webster, and Madelyn Webster; as well as several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Gerlach; and his brother, Jack Grimes.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
