Gerald "Jerry" Swinford, 74, Noblesville, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born September 5, 1934 in Noblesville to Paul and Eunice (Penwell) Swinford.
Jerry worked as a salesman for Noblesville Soft Water. Jerry was also a retired Chief Warrent Office in the National Guard, as well as retired from Pinpoint Locating Service.
He was a member of the First Church of God in Noblesville; Noblesville Noon Kiwanis Club; Noblesville Elks Lodge; Noblesville American Legion; and served on the Noblesville School Board for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Swinford; son, Mike (& Dawn) Swinford; daughters, Cindy (& Bob) Rowland and Michelle Swinford; grandson, Patrick (& Molli) Swinford; granddaughter, Laurissa Swinford; and sisters Virginia Thompson and Mary Calloway.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three children, Christine, Crystal, and Matthew Swinford; and two brothers, Marion and Paul Jr. Swinford.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Rich Meyer officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, November 19, 2:00 - 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
