Gertie F. Boatwright, 95, of Noblesville, passed away on the evening of Friday, December 25, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on June 11, 1920 to Tom and Villie (Nelson) Story in West Point, Tennessee. Gertie loved to be surrounded by her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and had been an avid bowler in her younger years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Julie (Ronnie) Feltz, Annabel (RC) Brooks and Linda Fox; her son, Charles (Louella) Boatwright; brothers, Lonnie Story and Jack (Betty) Story; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boatwright who passed away in 1973; two sisters; and four brothers.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am prior to the service. Pastor Darrell Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
