Gladys B. Smith, 96, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on June 23, 1918 to Robert and Georgia (Bales) Dees in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.
Gladys was a homemaker, who loved being a mother and grandmother; and loved to read. She also loved NASA Space program and never missed a launch.
She is survived by sons, Robert Louis Smith of Miami, FL and Ronald Lee Smith of Leesburg, FL; daughter, Linda C. (Mike) Benson of Noblesville; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Smith who passed away in 1972.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
