Glenn Lee Hunter

Glenn Lee Hunter, 73, of Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born July 3, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert Lee and Mary (Benedict) Hunter. He married Phyllis Gill on November 27, 1965, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Glenn (Amanda) Hunter of Duluth, MN, and Bradley Gill (Lori) Hunter of New Orleans, LA; three granddaughters, Addison, Hanna, and Sigourney; one grandson, Kieran; and one sister, Charlene Alexander of New Palestine. Glenn's son, Robert Samuel Hunter, preceded him in death.
Glenn loved his alma mater, University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of the football and golf teams. Golf was a sport he continued to play and love, tallying seven holes-in-one through the years.
Glenn was very active at Noblesville First United Methodist Church (NFUMC), where he led Bible Studies, sang in the Chancel Choir, and performed with the Four Gospels quartet.
Visitation is from 12 pm to 3 pm on Friday, April 22, 2016 at NFUMC. The funeral service will follow at 3 pm at the church. Pastor Dick Judson will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Glenn's beloved Music Ministry at NFUMC, 2051 East Monument St., Noblesville, IN 46060.
