Gloria M. (Simms) Koehl, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at IU Health Saxony Hospital in Fishers. She was born on June 2, 1937 to Tilford and Lucille (Cartmel) Simms in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Gloria worked as a Title Examiner in the Real Estate industry and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She loved flowers and cooking, but the things that were most important to her was her faith and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Herman A. Koehl; daughters, Angela (David) Sexson, Maria (Billy) Lane, Amy (Terry) Wilson & Jennifer (John) Lear; sons, Michael Koehl, Christopher (Wendy) Koehl, Stephen (Rhonda) Koehl, Andrew (Tracy) Koehl, Paul Koehl & his companion, Ramona; nineteen grandchildren five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tilford Simms; and sister, Diana Downey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Road, in Carmel, with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville with a Rosary Service beginning at 8:00 pm immediately after the visitation. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
