Gracie M. Shaffer

Gracie M. Shaffer, 95, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on November 25, 1921 to Billy and Jane (Donnels) Brickey in Norton, Virginia.
Gracie had worked on the assembly line for Western Electric. She was a member of the Baptist church; loved garage sales, collecting dolls, and word-search puzzles; and enjoyed cooking and gardening (especially flowers).
She is survived by her son, Clifford (Sharlene) Shaffer; daughters, Patsy (Robert) Wilkinson and Kathy Kendall; daughter-in-law, Jill Shaffer; two sisters, Nora Clark and Reba Smith; a sister-in-law, Maudie Miller; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Shaffer who passed away in 1993; two sons, Donald Shaffer and Rickey Shaffer; a great-grandchild, Makyla Briggs; three brothers; and six sisters.
Services will be held at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
